Peter Igo Park

Get on Board!

Site dedicated to the renovation of Peter Igo Park which is located in Brant Rock, Massachusetts.  The Peter Igo Park Initiative (PIPI) is spearheaded by volunteers from the Marshfield Tennis Club.

What's happening in 2019?

  • The tennis season begins in early April. Click here to see all that Marshfield Tennis Club has planned.

  • Late May/Early June we will look to form volleyball, basketball, and bocce leagues

  • Currently we believe we have a bocce commissioner and looking for a volunteer(s) to
    oversee volleyball and basketball leagues

  • The park is receiving club 2 AAU status and will be able to run a sanctioned AAU
volleyball tournament. Stay tuned for details.

  • The 17.5-acre park – An outdoor fitness facility is quite unique and offers the following –
canoeing, kayaking, crew, paddle boarding, bocce, volleyball, tennis, fitness stations, full
court basketball, street hockey, kiddie play area, off street parking and lights until 9:30
    PM

  • An agreement with neighboring DAV allows park patrons the use of the DAV ADA
compatible restrooms from 8AM to 8PM

  • The park is maintained by a large group of volunteers who tend to the “housekeeping,”
gardening, The Park Rangers and overall upkeep and maintenance which GHRR pitches
in with daily routines and keeps the waterfront pristine. Our strong relationship with the
DPW is always on board for the “heavy lifting,” along with an amazing group of local
tradespeople that always lend a hand when asked.

  • We encourage those who haven’t seen or used this “diamond in the rough” to come on
down and experience this amazing piece of town owned property!
